experience, vision, love and crazy faith!
The Experience
In 2018, while planning my own wedding, my interest in wedding planning blossomed. As a young girl, I envisioned my dream wedding. In order to see my dream become a reality, I knew I needed to hire a wedding planner. Prior to my engagement, I’d watch couples plan their weddings on TV, I’d search for inspiration everywhere and I’d journal all my ideas. Once I said, “YES,” to marrying my best friend, wedding planning began. Due to my trusted wedding planner, all of my worries drifted away. From the beginning to the end, I was truly able to enjoy every detail of my wedding planning process.
Leading up to my wedding day, I recall many people saying, “You’re not going to remember a single thing from your wedding, it’s going to go by so fast,” or, “That day is going to be so hectic”. Now, I’m proud to say, “I remember every detail and second of my wedding day. I remember everything, from arriving at the venue that morning, to the sparkler send off that night.” I’m able to cherish these heartfelt memories thanks to my amazing wedding planner and now mentor, Mrs. Pamela Parker. Mrs. Pam has been in the wedding planning industry for over 20 years working her business Simply Perfect Weddings and More.
Every couple planning for their wedding day should experience nothing less than a worry free, celebratory and memorable dream come true. This is why I am passionate and take pride in making my client’s planning process and big day one to remember - from my experience to yours!
The Vision
Shortly after my wedding in August of 2018, I said to myself, “Brianna, wedding planning is what you need to be doing!” I shared my passionate desire to pursue a career as a wedding planner with my husband, a few family members and a few friends. I connected with my mentor and she instructed me on the steps I needed to take as I set out to pursue my dream. I began writing plans and goals for myself. I put every plan into action and was determined to achieve each goal. Constantly, I found myself envisioning me owning my own wedding planning business. Just envisioning my future business added a sparkle to my smile.
In 2019, I enrolled in a wedding planning course to become a certified wedding planner. During this time, I was balancing being a newlywed, pregnant, a full-time employee, house hunter and a devotee to other life commitments. I know, what was I thinking, right? I was thinking about the happiness I felt. I was thinking about my plans and my goals, they were my focus and I was determined to see them fulfilled. I knew I finally settled on a career path that made my heart sing love songs, a career I wouldn’t have to drag myself out of bed for. I finally found something I knew I would be excited to wake up and do everyday. I found a career that would benefit both, my growing family and I. I had a vision and I knew I had to make that vision my reality.
Love
I enjoy feeling love, hearing love, seeing love, showing love and being a part of love. Yes, I am the person who cries over corny love movies or sappy love stories. I deeply believe love conquers all. For me, love is the center of everything. Love is my top priority. As a planner, I intertwine love throughout the planning process which aids in bringing my clients’ visions to life.
My purpose in life is to be of service to others. I love bringing joy to those around me and I love seeing people happy. I’ve always been the person people call on when they need an event planned. Those people tell me their vision and they count it done! Seeing the smiles on peoples faces when they experience their vision become a reality assures me that I’m fulfilling my purpose. From planning and coordinating my own personal events to planning events for my family, friends, organizations and church; I take pride in everything I do and I do everything out of love.
Crazy Faith
Life threw me a few curveballs before I finally launched out and started my dream business. Working a nine to five job kept me busy and paid but it also left me stressed out and unhappy. There were many times I neglected myself and lost focus of my goals. Before I knew it, I had allowed my dreams to sit idle for two years. It was 2021 and I still hadn’t completed the wedding planning course I had begun in 2019. With this realization, I decided it was time for something new. It was time to refocus, restart and rebuild. It was time to pick up where I left off and get back to pursuing my vision. It was time to step out on faith!
February 23, 2021, I resigned from my full-time job. Was it the hardest decision of my life? Yes. Was I scared? Yes. Did I have another job lined up? No. Did I know what was to come next? No. All I knew for certain was that it was time for me to finally go for what I truly wanted for myself. I had to have faith that everything would line up. Upon making this faith move, I dove back into the wedding planning course and I was in overdrive. I was determined more than ever to obtain my certificate of completion for this wedding planning course. It was personal for me. My crazy faith activated and I couldn’t be stopped.
Today, I am proud to say that I Am an ABC Certified Wedding Planner and I Am the owner of EnVisions Wedding and Event Planning. Thank you for all the love and support from my husband, family and close friends. It was my support system who pushed, motivated and inspired me to just Do It!

Hey Hey! I hope by now, you feel like you’ve gotten to know me pretty well. Allow me to officially introduce myself. My name is Brianna Diggs. I am the wife of a fisherman, the mother of a brilliant little boy and a pup pup. I simply love weddings and everything about love. I am very detail oriented and organized. People who know me will say I am a perfectionist, in your case, that’s a great thing. I was born and raised in a small area called the Northern Neck of Virginia but I’ve always had big dreams. At this very moment, I’m proud to be living out my dream by helping people like you enjoy the process of planning your dream day.
